"Seventy-one Nova Scotian workers at Ubisoft lost their livelihoods after unionizing with the Game & Media Guild of Canada," the NDP of Nova Scotia said in a social media post. "People who bought homes, started families and were putting down roots in Nova Scotia.

"Ubisoft walked out of the province with $11 million in public money — and (N.S. Premier) Tim Houston hasn't lifted a finger. The Houston government must act now to strengthen worker protections and let people make a livable wage so they can have a good life."
