Disciplinary meeting? Know your rights

You have the right to representation by your union during any meeting with management. This is especially important if the meeting might include disciplinary action. Keep this card with you and read it or present it to your manager before the meeting begins.

If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined, terminated, and/or have any effect on my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my union representative, officer or steward be present at this meeting.
